Dene: This Perfect Piecing Seam Guide is perfect for measuring your scant 1/4 inch seam. Place the guide under the presser foot and lower the needle into the hole. Dene's Rating: Diane: This guide truly works! I checked the sewing machine I use daily and also two other machines to compare results. The seam allowance matched exactly on each of the machines after aligning each needle with the edge of the guide. This is a great gadget that will enable the quilter to alternate between a machine taken to workshops/retreats and the main sewing machine used at home without worrying about the seam allowances not matching. Dene: You will use the Qtools Sewing Edge vinyl tape to mark the scant ¼" line after using the Perfect Piecing Seam Guide. This tape is reusable & does not leave a residue on your machine. I recommend these two gadgets.

Dene's Rating: Diane: This is a good companion gadget for the Perfect Piecing Seam Guide. These vinyl strips have a strong bond and work better than mole skin to mark the seam allowance since it doesn’t fray or wear down after use. I repositioned one of the strips several times over 2 months and found that it stuck to each new surface and well as when new. Diane's Rating: | ![]() |
