Diane: The description by the company above says it all! I love this little light and have used it on two retreats. It’s quite easy to slip the power cord out of the brackets to remove it from the machine. Additional mounting kits can be purchased making it nice to use the light on multiple machines. It’s wonderful when sewing with dark fabrics because it provides such bright light. I would advise that you take the time to "play" with the best location for placement on your machine before permanently attaching the mounting bracket. Several quilters at our last retreat had problems with the flexible arm "flopping down" and not staying in place but I believe there was too much stress on the arm because of the placement of the light. While it is not cheap (about $49.00), if it lasts as long as advertised it is well worth it. Diane's Rating: Dene: I agree with Diane, the description of the light says it all. I’ve also used mine on two retreats. I like the flexible arm. I can make it shine directly on the needle area. I purchased two mountings so I could use on more than one machine. It is easy to remove from the machine when you are finished sewing. Some ladies had trouble with the arm flopping. I think the placement is the key issue. Play around until you have a good position on the machine. It is expensive but I believe it is worth the cost of the light. I do not need it at home as I have very good lighting over my machine.
