Thread Cone Stand by "It’s Sew Neat"

"The base of the cone stand is made in oak with the peg, bushing and vertical rod made in Baltic birch. The thread guide is made from brass and along with the heaviness of the wood makes this a very sturdy stand not giving to tipping or bending... The tension stays perfect as it feeds into your machine."

Diane: Dene & I actually found this cone stand 2 years ago at the AQS show in Nashville & knew we had found a "winner." Everyone I know who is using this stand loves it. It's great if you use large cones of thread for piecing. You can use a single standard spool or the large cones by putting on the one-inch bushing (that comes with the stand). Not only is it attractive & reasonably priced but quite sturdy, making it easy to take along to retreats or classes so you don't have to switch back to standard size thread spool if you prefer the cones. The stand can be purchased in either oak or cherry. It's not sold locally at this time but can be purchased on-line from: www.itssewneat.com. This small family owned business also sells a nice selection of thread racks.
