This month we had 3 new members, 2 renewals, and 6 guests at the meeting. In all of the commotion at the membership table, we missed reporting one of the new members during this month’s meeting. So the membership committee would like to offer a special welcome to Mary C., who joined our guild for the first time at this month’s meeting. Mary is one of the, if not the, youngest member of our guild. It is wonderful to have new younger faces joining the guild. Younger members show us that the art and tradition of quilting will continue to live and to grow as young people join in.
Don’t forget that the new membership directories are available at the membership table during the meetings. So stop by and pick yours up, if you haven’t already done so.
